Keeping a Low-Stress Home
This workshop is for those who need assistance in keeping minimal stress in their home, offering tips and ideas for how to maintain your home as a retreat from stress.
Stress Busting
Using humor, relaxation and communication skills training, this workshop helps participants take ownership of the ways that we allow stress to take over our lives. After exploring the “anatomy of a stressful day,” participants explore ways to make physiologic, cognitive and communicative interventions to create a more manageable day. Participants can discuss their own stress-busting strategies.
Stress Management
This workshop looks at the sources of stress, the negative consequences of unrelenting stress, and suggested ingredients in a personal stress management toolkit. Participants also practice relaxation exercise.
Grinch-Busting
This workshop covers stress signs and symptoms, looking at physical and emotional effects, offers stress management techniques, and reviews what happens during the holiday season to add stress to our lives.
Chicken Soup for the Mind
Cognitive behavioral therapy is used to teach basic stress management. The therapy is introduced using contemporary illustrations such as “Chicken Soup for the Soul” and “The Man Who Listens to Horses.”
Burnout
This workshop offers tools to deal with stress that can occur from burnout. It teaches the definitions, stages and symptoms of burnout; and provides strategies for success.
Change Management
Change can have a significant emotional impact. This workshop explores the personal side of change and how to make the transition, as well as how to help others in their transition.
